Dr. Torgerson received her BS from Regis College in Denver, Colorado and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Torgerson is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Wieser received her BS from Baylor University and earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She completed her residency in Family Practice at JPS here in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Wieser is board certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Waldron received her BS from the University of Florida and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Waldron is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Amy De La Rosa is a certified Physician Assistant who received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas then subsequently earned her Masters of Physician Studies from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Ms. De La Rosa is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. Physician Assistants practice medicine under the direction of physicians. Physician Assistants are formally trained to examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses, perform procedures and provide treatment.

Ruthie graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999 and completed the physician assistant program at Baylor College of Medicine in the Houston Medical Center in 2005. In 2006, she joined the UNTHSC physician assistant faculty and directed the women’s health academic and clinical curriculum while working in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for 8 years. She continues to guest lecture for the women’s health curriculum. In 2015, Ruthie joined Eighth Avenue Obstetrics and Gynecology and for six years worked in all areas of women’s health including gynecology from puberty through menopause, counseling contraceptive options, sexually transmitted disease screening and prevention, depression and anxiety issues, prenatal and postpartum care and ever changing roles of women. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
