
Texas Christian University requires every new student, regardless of classification, to show documentation of two doses of Measles (Rubeola) vaccine and two Mumps vaccinations along with a current Mantoux TB Skin Test (within the last 12 months).
REQUIRED
Measles (Rubeola) - Two doses of Measles (Rubeola) vaccine are required for all incoming students born after 1957 or have verification of having had the disease. Dose One must have been given at 12 months of age or after. Dose Two must have been given after January 1968 and at least 30 days after Dose One.
Mumps - Two doses of Mumps vaccine are required for all incoming students or have verification of having had the disease.
Tuberculosis (Mantoux) TB Skin Test - Within the 12 months prior to entering TCU, a Mantoux TB Skin Test is required of all entering students. A Tine test is not acceptable. Mantoux TB Skin Tests are available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays only.
Required immunizations are offered at the Health Center. Payment may be made at the time of service or posted to the student's University account.

Meningitis is a potentially fatal bacterial infection. A vaccine is available that protects against four types of the bacteria causing meningitis. You are encouraged to discuss with your family physician the advisability of obtaining the vaccine. The vaccine is available at the Health Center.
